Who we are

Breakfastophilia was created in February 2020 by three friends and students of culinary arts in Lisbon, Portugal. The team is made up of Barbara (Venezuelan), Elisa (French), and Nikša (Croatian). Although with different backgrounds and with three distinct voices, we are united in our love of cooking and food, and breakfast in particular.

On this blog you will find all things related to breakfast. Including, but not limited to: our favorite breakfast memories, thoughts and reflections on breakfasts from all around the world, new and exciting breakfast experiences, reviews, and of course, recipes.

Breakfastophilia is aimed at all people who love breakfast and want to learn more about what people around the globe eat in the morning. We want to encourage people to try new foods and to travel to new places, and to inspire them to recreate some of the dishes at home, hopefully making their breakfast a more exciting and delicious event.
